Happy Wednesday! Last night was a night where we were stumped. Our son tried to talk us out of the movies we suggested, then I got SO excited when he suggested Ant-man and the Wasp. YES! BINGO! LET'S DO IT! Then he says he can't remember what it's about, starts it and within 20 seconds stops it because he doesn't want to watch it. WHAT?!?!At this point he gave up trying to change our minds, so that's when we decided on Camp Nowhere, a movie we discovered one day while browsing. It was free for us to rent and has Christopher Lloyd in it, and since he's great, we decided to try it.
Full disclosure, I had a couple of rum and Cokes and then made cookies, so I was not 100% present for this movie. I had to ask my husband about any questionable language or content because I wasn't really paying attention for the last half of it. It's a funny, silly movie about kids who don't want to go to the summer camps their parents want to send them to, so they get a former drama coach to invent a "camp" that appeals to all the parents. The thing is the camp is for absolutely nothing except fun.
You can expect a bit of bullying, some potty humor, some sexual references, and the cover of Playboy magazines.
