SCOOB!

I have strong opinions on this movie choice. If you know me, this won't surprise you as I tend to be quite outspoken especially when it comes to sharing my opinion. I don't often sugarcoat it either, just deliver the news like ripping off a Band-Aid. Sometimes it's too hard to come up with a way to add sugar.  Anyway, here is goes....

Scoob! was a movie we watched when it first came out and be warned that it DOES NOT have Matthew Lillard in it. He literally does the best damn Shaggy voice on the freaking planet and he's not even in it! I kind of didn't even want to give it another chance when I heard Shaggy talk. Did you know they didn't even ASK him to do the voice?! Strike number two, assholes. OK, OK, OK, maybe they're not assholes, maybe they're really great people, but it was a bad decision in my book. What were they thinking?! 

Strike number three was that Linda Cardellini wasn't the voice of Velma.  I just couldn't, guys.

BUT, we watched it , so it deserves a post. My son and husband liked it (except for the Shaggy bit I already mentioned).  I will say the animation is really great and I wish I had that talent. Wouldn't that be such a fun job?!  You can expect the same (possibly) spooky stuff as you did in the old cartoons and an amazing relationship between a boy and his dog.
